A Chinese and Thai food festival is being organized at Strings, the restaurant at the Taj Banjara, this entire month, starting on 15th July. The festival is on for lunch and dinner - 12:30pm to 2:45 pm, and 7:30pm to 11:45pm. On Saturdays this festival is on only for lunch, and on Sundays only for dinner.
The food is available both a la carte and in a buffet, with variations in the menu everyday. The menu has 3 non-vegetarian dishes (comprising fish, chicken and lamb items), and 4 vegetarian dishes (comprising Thai Veg Curry and 3 Chinese items - Three Treasure Vegetable, Kum Pao and Bamboo Shoots With Sprouts). The main course includes Vegetable Fried Rice and Vegetable Noodles.
There is also a choice of desserts each day, including various cheesecakes made of Mango and Kiwi. Australian Apple Pie also features on the dessert menu, along with custards such as Coconut Caramel and Lemon Grass Bruli with cut fruits. Honey Noodles (noodles roasted in honey), Apple Pancake and Date Pancake are other picks you could choose from.
