Terrace Bay is hosting a special Punjabi food festival, all month. The timings are 12pm to 3:30pm for lunch, and 7pm to 11:30pm for dinner.
The menu is a collection of Punjabi specials. Starters include Malai Paneer Tikka, Nashili Boti and Tandoori Chop. The main course features Matar Paneer, Papa-ji-da Saag, Makhani Sabzi and Pakoda Curry for vegetarians, and Amber Sari Murg, Quails- Tandoori Masaledar and Chusey for non-vegetarians. Chole and Aloo Ka Pulav, Tadke Wali Khichdi and Patiala-style Lassi are other attractions.
There are also a number of varieties of parathas - Aloo Paratha, Gobi Paratha, Muli Paratha and Chicken and Kheema Parathas, to name a few. The dessert menu consists of Faluda, Kulfi and Badam Kheer. There is also a special Dildar offer on liquor, as part of which you get a 90ml drink for the price of a 60ml drink.
Chef Sandeep Singh, who has been in this field for 10 years, is hosting the festival. He started his career at Krishna Oberoi in Hyderabad, and then in the Oberoi, Bombay, for 4 months. He then worked at Bawa International in Bombay. He joined Terrace Bay in March 2009.
Terrace Bay was started by Harminder Singh, 3 years back. The restaurant has an air-conditioned seating area, as well as an open terrace, with two bars. There is also a DJ playing live Punjabi music on the weekends.
Prices for vegetarian dishes start from Rs. 160, and those for the non-vegetarian menu ranges between Rs. 180 to Rs. 245.
