Chandni Chowk To China might have been quite the anti-thesis of a blockbuster, but Chinese food has always been the anti-thesis of the anti-thesis of a blockbuster. But hold your desi tastebuds - this one's being specially tossed up by a chef from Beijing. Experience some authentic Chinese delights at Golden Dragon's Chinese Food Festival, from 14th August to 24th August. The festival is on for lunch from 12:30pm to 3pm and for dinner from 7:30pm to 11:45pm.
Chef Yun Shi from Bejing has been invited specially for the festival, and he plans to enthrall food lovers with his special menu. The starters in the a la carte menu are Chilli Chicken Mountain and Thai Chin Fish. The main course has Yuxian Chicken, Chicken Egg Plant Chilli Soya, Beijing Duck, Shredded Lamb Black Pepper Sauce in the non-vegetarian section, and Crispy Egg Plant Chilli Bean Sauce, Cottage Cheese Soya Garlic, Sterified Beans Garlic Flavored for the vegetarians.
Some Chinese staples, including Vegetable Hakka Noodles, sea food, chicken, and Burnt Garlic Spicy Onion Fried Rice, are also part of the menu. And finally, the dessert spread consists of Date Pancake, toffees made from Apple, Banana and Lichi, Crispy Pancake and crunchy Darsaan.
Vegetarian items are priced at Rs. 525 onwards, and non-vegetarian items at Rs 665 onwards.
