REVIEW FOR CHAMBER MUSIC AT KALASAGARAM

Kalasagaram is organizing a chamber music concert on 25th October, by Jayaraman. He will be accompanied by R Dinakar on the violin, and by S Arvind on the mridangam.

Jayaraman is a chartered accountant at L V Prasad Eye Hospital. He had his initial training from his grandmother, Smt. Parvatam Ganesan, and later, under Smt. Mallika Padmanabhan. At present, he is under the tutelage of Padmabhushan Smt. P S Narayana Swamy.

He has won prizes at music competitions conducted by various sabhas, including the Music Academy, Chennai. He was a recipient of the Dhirubhai Ambani Foundation Scholarship. He has performed at centres like the Music Academy, and the Sri Shanmukhananda Sabha (Mumbai).
