Carpe Diem At CBIT

If you thought that the only things heating up the Hyderabadis are those disgusting hoardings of movies going "to 75 days" (in font size 2,536) when they've just done 25 days, millions of words of copy about what Aamir Khan would wear for the Oscar ceremony and the sun, in that order, then here's some real refresher! One of the coolest colleges of town is bringing in one of the hottest campus events of the year!



Carpe Diem is a poetic expression to say "Seize the Day". And that is what is set to happen at the Chaitanya Bharathi Institute Of Technology (CBIT) today. The day will start at 10am, and will rock till late in the evening. The fete has over 50 stalls of food, drink, games and other corporate stalls, which will remain open till late in the night. In addition to these, there are many fun-filled adventurous games like Amazing Race, Junkyard Wars and Gang Wars.



There has been a tradition started at CBIT way back in the nineties, the Jukebox. And the seniors (the 4th year engineering students) at the college are now going one step further by bringing for the very first time at any college festival, the DJ War. 



Arguably the biggest band in the country, Euphoria, will play at the campus during the end. CBIT is also planning to rope in Tollywood actors like Nagarjuna, Venkatesh, Uday Kiran, Tarun and Aarti Agarwal to the show.
