Carnatic Vocal By Dr. V Balasubrahmanyam: Events in Hyderabad

REVIEW FOR CARNATIC VOCAL BY DR....

On the occasion of Durga Navaratris, Shilparamam is organising a Carnatic vocal recital by Dr. Vyzarsu Balasubrahmanyam, on 20th October. Pavan Singh on the violin and Kapa Srinivas Rao on the mridangam will provide the music support.

Dr. Vyzarsu Balasubrahmanyam has done his M A in music from Potti Sreeramulu Telugu University and holds double Ph D from the Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya Mandal, Miraj, and from the University of Delhi. He is one of the topmost sangeet vidhwan of the city and teaches several students at his institute Bhairavi Sangeet Academy which he had established more than 7 years ago.

Dr. Balasubrahmanyam has performed in many venues across the state and the country. He has also been on concert tours to Australia and Singapore too. He has composed a number of Varnams, Krithis, Javalis and Tillanas, besides music for Annamayya keertanas. Many of his students have won many prizes at national level music competitions.
