REVIEW FOR CAMPUS ROCK IDOLS FIESTA

If you can scream and holler in some kinda rhythm, and get a bunch of fellas to strum on a guitar or two with a drum set thrown in for good measure, you could be the next Van Halen or Sheryl Crow. With the right nudge of course.

Here's announcing the arrival of that nudge. The All India College Rock Festival is on. And in its Hyderabad leg it sees a gruesome battle for supremacy. The winners go on to compete in the south-zone level and then the national finals. Competition is gonna be tough. Over 150 bands have already signed up, nationwide.

The winners of the national final get to perform alongside the likes of Sting, Bryan Adams, Dire Straits, Duran Duran and The Rolling Stones during their Indian tours.

For those of us to whom singing is a ritual best confined to the bathroom, this will be an excellent opportunity to watch some inspired stuff. And to pray that there isn't a Spice Girls in the making.
