Brilliant Trophy Chess Tournament: Events in Hyderabad

REVIEW FOR BRILLIANT TROPHY CHESS TOURNAMENT

Chess may be a cerebral game, but wanting to be good at it is a no-brainer. And that's all that this tournament aims to make the kids.

The Andhra Pradesh Chess Association is organising the Brilliant Trophy Children's Chess Tournament at the Brilliant Grammar High School, ECIL X Road, on 28th April, to motivate young players to further hone their skills in the summer vacations.

Competitions will be held seperately in the Under-6, Under-8, Under-10, Under-12 and Under-14, boys and girls categories. The registration fee is Rs. 50 per head, and mementos will be awarded for the top three in each category. Participation certificates will be given to all the participants.

The tournament will be conducted in the Sicilian format on a league basis. Every player has to play all the other players in his category, and on the basis of these performances, winners will be announced on the final points scored.
