Marie and Inga are both blind 13-year-old girls and have been best friends for a long time. The two girls live at a boarding school where they are able to pursue their one great passion - music. They are full of excitement upon the prospect of participating in a television talent contest but their hopes are soon dashed after a local band rejects them saying that blind kids just aren't media cool. One day, Marie meets Herbert, who is trying to get back home to Kazakhstan. For want of money, the three form a trio and begin busking in the streets. The trio are joined by one of the girls' schoolmates, Daniel, and before long, the newly-formed band The Blindflyers decide to make their own music video and submit it to the talent hunt show. After many hurdles, they make a surprise success story...
