REVIEW FOR BANDISH PROJEKT AT VASAVI

On the occasion of Euphoria 2008, the annual cultural festival of Vasavi College of Engineering being held from 14th to 16th March, 3 famous Indian music bands, Euphoria, Bandish Projekt and Raghu Dixit Project, will be performing.

Today, the 2nd day, remix band Bandish Projekt will be mixing some funky music and igniting the celebration spirits of the Vasavians taking them on a journey of classical and modern music. This performance will feature a wide range of instruments, including mixers, turntables, keyboards and laptops, as well as instruments like tabla, djembe, duff, kanjira and doumbek.

Bandish Project maintains a balance between retro, progressive and contemporary music. Based in Ahmedabad, Bandish means a composition of the Indian classical music. The crew comprises Mayur Narvekar, Udyan Sagar, Mehirr Nath Chopra and Pritesh Varia. The band was officially formed in 2001, but even before then, it had numerous shows to its credit, all over the world.
