REVIEW FOR BACHPAN UTSAV
Little bread-winners get into the child mode, even if it's only for a week.
Hyderabad Council Of Human Welfare is hosting a week-long festival celebrating the essence of childhood. This event, called Bachpan Utsav is being held from the 2nd to the 8th of December this year.
Ideally held between the 14th and the 28th of December, but due to the sad demise of K R Narayanan, the chidren's carnival was postponed to the month of December.
Hyderabad Council For Human Welfare has been organizing this carnival for the past 8 years, bringing the street children free medical check-up and aid, and giving them an opportunity to participate in sports and cultural events.
This week-long fest is made possible with the help of NGO's, Hyderabad District Collectorate and noted citizens of the twin cities.
