On the occasion of the Times Hyderabad Festival, free cooking classes are being organised by renown chefs of the city, who will whip up Chinese, International, Mexican, Awadhi, North-Indian, Italian, continental, Nawabi and Hyderabadi cuisine, from 7th to 15th June, at various premium eateries like Firdaus and Golden Dragon of Taj Krishna, Arena of Taj Deccan, Kebabs & Kurries and Deccan Pavilion of ITC Hotel The Kakatiya, Serengati of Ohri's Banjara, The Square of Novotel and Okra of Marriott.
As part of these, Chef Sumeet Sood, the inhouse chef of the Firdaus restaurant of Taj Krishna, will present live demonstrations of Awadhi & Hyderabadi cooking methods today, preparing some traditional dishes like Haleem, Nalli Gosht & Hyderabadi Sabz Biryani.
Summet did his Hotel Management from IHCTM, Bangalore, before being placed at Taj Palace, Delhi. He then moved to the Taj Mahal Hotel for 2 years, before returning to the Taj Palace, where he worked on continental food & banquets for the next 4 years. He has been working at the Taj Krishna for the last 8 years.
