Aradhana TV News Readers Award: Events in Hyderabad

Yes, here's a chance to see them all live - and be sure finally that they are for real, and that the channels aren't making it all up.

Aradhana, in association with the Delhi Telugu Academy, is felicitating TV newsreaders of different channels, at Sri Thyagaraja Gana Sabha, on 29th June. The evening starts with a Kuchipudi dance recital by Ramyateja, a disciple of Dr Shobha Naidu and Pasumarti Seshubabu, which will be followed by the felicitation ceremony.

The recipients will be given a silk shawl and a memento, praising their work. Following is the list of the winners to be felicitated:

On this occasion, a gold medal will be presented by Pragathi Media Links to the person selected as newsreader of this decade, K L N Rao.

The chief guest for the evening is Dr G Chinna Reddy, State Minister for Rural Development, and the evening will be presided over by Kala Vachaspati Dr Ramu, writer, novelist, actor and director, Guntur. The other guests are P Vijayababu, senior journalist; Dr D V Nageshwara Rao, Chairman of Abhinandana Housing Pvt Limited; Rudraraju, Member of Legislative Assembly; Sai Sudhakar Naidu, founding president of Kutumba Seva Samithi; and G Pragathi, CEO, Pragathi Media Links.
