REVIEW FOR ANNUAL PAINTING EXHIBITION BY...

The Krishnakriti Exhibition is being organised every year by the Lahoti Foundation, which was established by Prashant Lahoti in memory of his father Krishnachandra B Lahoti. This year too you will find eminent artists including Ajay Zharotia, Asma Menon, Bala Subramanyam, Bhagyanath, Chippa Sudhakar, George Oommen, Indrapramit Roy, Jia Zharotia, Jogen Chowdhury, Joop Haring, Mahreen Zuberi, Pradeep Naik, Ravi Kashi, Shilpa Mayenkar, Siddarth Gosavi, Sudip Roy, Suhas Roy, Tanmoy Samanta, Viraj Naik, Wilson D'Souza and Yousuf Arakkal, displaying their creations on canvas. The exhibition will be inaugurated today at ITC Hotel Kakatiya, and will continue displaying at Kalakriti Art Gallery, till 8th October.

The paintings on display are a mix of human characters and their expressions, and animals, articles and nature. Most of the paintings are untitled, and are on different sizes of canvas.

At the end of the exhibition, you can choose your favourite painting, and Kalakriti will arrange a meeting with the artist. A part of the proceeds from the exhibition will go to The Krishnachandra B Lahoti Scholarship, which sponsors holistic education for deserving and needy students.
