Arena, the all-day dining outlet in Taj Deccan, plays host to the Salmon & Wine festival from September 26 to October 11, 2008.
Executive Chef Sachin Joshi will showcase this exquisite continental culinary trail in Arena. This gastronomic experience will be complemented with a wine recommended by the hotel's wine sommelier Mr. Dennis George, who was trained under Mr. Robert Bath of Napa Valley California.
Salmon is a popular food across the world and consuming salmon is considered to be good for health, owing to the fish's high protein, high Omega-3 fatty acids, and high vitamin D content. Offering a unique combination, pairing salmon with the best of wines from across the world, 'Salmon & Wine Fest' promises to transport guests to a completely different world.
The A-La-Carte menu offer includes an array of delicacies like smoked salmon on young rye bread, smoked salmon with lemon and thyme scented salsa, salmon parmentier, crispy salmon in vegetable broth, tandoori salmon tikka served with mint chutney, marinated oyster and grilled salmon with fried rice and stir fried greens, paired with some exotic wines.
The festival is open for dinner from 7:30 pm to 11:30 pm.
