Gallery Space is presenting a solo show preview of contemporary artist Ramesh Gorjala, from 5th October to 10th. There is also an ongoing exhibition at Gallery Space from 2nd October to 10th October.
Ramesh Gorjala, Gallery Space's artist of the month, hails from Kalahasti, and completed his Bachelors of Fine Arts in painting from JNTU, Hyderabad. He has exhibited his paintings at Art In Action, London, and has also participated in the state level art exhibitions conducted by the Telugu University, and the handicraft exhibitions conducted by the Craft Council of AP. He received the Mahatma Gandhi Birth Centenary Memorial Award in the year 2000, from Victoria Technical Institute (VTI), Chennai, and also the State Award from the A P Crafts Council for 2002.
