Ahmed Hussain Memorial Badminton Tournament: Events in Hyderabad

The Andhra Pradesh Badminton Association, in association with the Hyderabad District Badminton Association, is organising the Ahmed Hussain Memorial Badminton Tournament from 5th to 7th February at the Lal Bahadur Indoor Stadium.

Matches will be held in the men's, women's and boys' categories, singles and doubles. 30 players in the men's category, 10 in the women's category and 35 in the boys' category are taking part in this event. All the matches will be played in the knock-out format. Trophies, rackets and cash prizes will be given to the top 3 players, and participation certificates will be given to all participants.

The matches will be decided in a single set of 30 game points, instead of the best-of-three-sets format. The tournament starts at 09:30am everyday and is open to all. For further details, please contact Phani Rao at 94400-65604.
