The Department Of Computer Science And Engineering of Maturi Venkata Subba Rao (MVSR) Engineering College is organising a 2-day annual technical festival called Aarohan 2K8, on 12th & 13th March, at the college campus at Nadergul, Saroornagar. The paper presentation contest covers the following topics:

Digital Image Processing
Wireless Communication
Embedded Systems
Date Ware Housing and Data Mining
Nano Technology

La Ingenious
A Project Presentation Contest. Any web-based application framework which facilitates creating personal portals or personalizing or managing online data, or any type of embedded system project, or any project related to computers can be presented.
Code Wars
A coding contest where the war is between the candidate and the programming languages.
On The Fly
An extempore wherein each candidate needs to express his views about a surprising topic. This event brings you an opportunity to show off your communication skills, your interaction capabilities etc.
Gamex
The most exciting event in the fest, with 3 international standard LAN games in the event - what makes it more exciting is the fact that the gaming devices used for this purpose are of high configuration systems which provide an enthusiastic environment for LAN Gaming.
