There is something about handwoven garments that makes them magical, especially if natural dyes are used to color them.
This natural dye exhibition is being organised by Dastakar, a non-profit organisation working with the weavers in AP. There are five stalls - The Dastkar AP Stall, The Natural Dyed Stall, Sarees, Kalamkari, and Duppatas. There are also chemical dyed fabrics and duppatas. The price range for the natural dyed fabrics in sarees, duppatas, and dress materials ranges between Rs. 85 and 190 per metre. The special attraction is indigo, which is a blue color cloth done in vegetable dye. This will cost you Rs. 120 per metre.
