REVIEW FOR SALARJUNG MUSEUM WEEK

What is the role of a Museum as an educational center? No idea? This might be a good place to find out.

Salarjung museum aims to propagate the Cultural Heritage of this Nation, and involve the public in programmes of the Museum. There is a Rangoli competition, exclusively for the ladies of the twin cities on the 11 Jan, at 10 am. Eminent persons will deliver special lectures on museums and heritage during the Museum Week celebrations on 8th, 10th and 13th January 2005.

Film shows on various museums, Indian Culture, art and monuments will be shown to the visiting public. Physically challenged persons will be allowed free entry throughout this week. Special concession for children/students will be made in the entry fee.
