Who says that people working with highly deleterious subjects like atomic energy lose the capacity to regale themselves? The grim face sported by many that we've come across is not the entire picture, as you'll see here. The Department of Atomic Energy is organizing a competition of cultural events for its employees. This is purely a departmental program, but they certainly are not crowd-shy, as all are welcome to view this event. The competitions will be held in group-dance and singing.
There are a number of divisions of the ECIL located across the country, and similar competitions will be taking place at respective locations at the same time. Around 40 employees are participating in this competition, being held at the Hyderabad division. 20 employees will be selected to represent the Hyderabad division in the finals, the national event. This 20-member team will be participating only in group-dance and in vocal events.
