The French Embassy, in association with Alliance Francaise Hyderabad and Unifrance, is presenting Rendez-vous With French Cinema, from 4th to 7th February, at Prasads Multiplex. This festival will showcase the latest productions of an innovative, diverse and dynamic French film industry, in 5 Indian cities - Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore and Hyderabad. It will be an important moment in the Indo-French cultural relationship, for which cinema is one of the strongest underpinning ties.
Today, the last day, a thriller called Them will be screened at 8:00pm. Directed by David Moreau & Xavier Palud, the movie has Michael Cohen and Olivia Bonamy playing the central characters.
Clémentine is a teacher at a French school in Bucharest, and Lucas is a novelist. The young couple lives happily in a large, remote house in the middle of a forest. Tonight their lives will be turned upside down. They don't know it yet, but they're being spied on, are surrounded. When night falls, Clémentine and Lucas will discover that THEY are there, everywhere, even inside the house. Who are they? What do they want? They'll be taken to the outer reaches of fear before discovering the answer.
There will be English subtitles, and entry is by invitations only, available at the Alliance Francaise office at West Marredpally. Please contact 2770-0734/2770-0736 for further details.
