Tecstasy '07, a National-Level Technical Symposium, is being organised by the Department of Information Technology of the Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology, on 15th and 16th March, at the college campus. A number of enlightening lectures by several eminent persons of the IT world will be the highlights. It also has a plethora of both technical and cultural events, like Cognos - the paper presentation event, Acuity - the IT quiz and D-Bug - the debugging contest. Here is the complete list:

An interactive workshop by Bezawada Bruhadeshwar, Ph D, Assistant Professor, Michigan State University, USA. He will be speaking on the topics of Network Security, Key Management, Secure Group Communication, Adhoc Networks and Secure Storage Systems.
Workshop on Robotics
To be addressed by Bipin Indurkhya, Ph D, University of Massachusetts, USA, and Professor, IIIT - Hyderabad. The areas he is expected to cover are Robotics, Computer And Creativity, Computers And Education, and Metaphor And Cognition.
A national-level paper presentation. All selected papers will be awarded certificates, and there are cash prizes for those who win.
