Ladies are in for yet another reason to shop, like there weren't enough already - the monsoons. Begin your sravanamasam shopping at the Lepakshi Saree Mela, which is on from 23rd July to 14th Aug. The mela starts at 10am everyday.

Lepakshi is providing an opportunity for weavers in Andhra Pradesh to display their talents and woo buyers. The exhibition features sarees from Mangalagiri, Pochampalli, Kota, Maheshwari, Chanderi, Bagalpur, Kanchi and Gadwal. Women can also get to splurge on some fancy dress material with Kalamkari and Pochampalli prints.

Discounts are offered on certain purchases. The price ranges for sarees and dress materials is Rs. 300 to Rs. 5,000.
