This is paradise in many ways. Firstly, that's where it's happening. Le Palais
Royal isn't probably the most well-known of venues, but the company that is organizing
it definitely isn't new. R K Creations is one of the popular modeling agencies
in town, and this is one place where you'll see some of their work on display.
Among a plethora of events, there is a fashion show here.
Coming back to the paradise bit, of the many Valentine Day celebrations happening
in town, this promises to be attractive for the variety and the price. This fete
is the most inexpensive event to get in this Valentine Day, at least as this article
is going to ftp. At Rs. 10, it's a cool deal. You even get a romance band for
that. And for all the unlucky ones out there that don't really have the girls'
hearts go aflutter, this is one of the few places that allows stags.
There is a number of events here to keep you excited - there are dance competitions
(solo and group) and a fashion show (both these at 7pm), a rock show (at 9pm),
a slow bike race (on a Hero Puch ez), a rose queen competition and a juke box
to let you sing by proxy for your Valentine. There is a live disco, too, all through
the day.
Not everything in life comes for 10 bucks, though. So there is a fee of Rs. 100
for the dance competitions, Rs. 10 - Rs. 50 for every song that you play on the
juke box ("depending on the song" - now that's new), and Rs. 50 for
the disco. But for a day of fun, is that too much to pay? And who knows, maybe
you'll find your Valentine here!
