Qubit '10 is the national-level technical symposium organized by the department of Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) of Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Technology. The fest is on the 6th and the 7th of April.
Previously called Titan, the symposium has been renamed Qubit, and is aimed at providing an effective interface not only among students but also between the students and the corporate world.
The list of events that form part of the festival are:
Paper Presentation
The topics are Computer Networks, Network Security & Cryptography, Data Mining and Data Warehousing, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Neural Networks, or any other topic related to latest technologies in CSE.
Techno Hunt
Participants will be given a topic, and all they need to do is browse the internet for related information and then explain it their own way. A small quiz on the same topic will follow.
Imaginova
This event is about the presentation of one's imaginations and ideas.
Coding & Debugging
The given program will be coded in either C or C++.
LAN Gaming
This is an online gaming contest, and the games are Counter Strike and FIFA.
Picture Perfect
This is the classic game of "pictionary" with a new technical twist.
Math Quiz
Participants must clear a questionnaire on the topic of mathematics, in two stages.
