Yukti '10 - Annual Technical Fest At MGIT (CSIT): Events in Hyderabad

REVIEW FOR YUKTI '10 - ANNUAL...

If you can cleanse worms with a pitter-patter of the keyboard, if you can assemble a whole CPU in minutes, if you can yap for a minute without repeating yourself - the world needs you. More important, Yukti needs you.

Yukti is the annual technical fest conducted by the department of Information Technology, Mahatma Gandhi Institute Of Technology (MGIT). This year, it is being held on 6th & 7th April, at the college's campus in Gandipet.

A gamut of inventive events has been incorporated into the symposium and the details are as follows:

Paper Presentation

The paper has to related to of any of these topics - Internet Security, Web Mining, Image Processing, Biometrics, Virtual Reality, or any other topic related to Information Technology.

Poster Presentation

Presentation has to be on chart paper, and any technical topic of IT can be chosen.

Project Presentation

Participants need to submit their project abstract with screen shots of their project.

Assembling

Participants must assemble a CPU within a time interval. The one who completes the task first will win the race.

3 Idiots

The team size is 3, and the rounds are as follows: 1- Divide & Rule; 2 - Demo; 3: All Izz Well.

Tech JAM

The object of the game is for participants to talk for 60 seconds on a subject without repetition, hesitation or deviation.

Techno Hackerz

There will be 5 different viruses inserted in the system given to the participants. The task is to detect and delete the worm within the specified time.
