Unlike for us, brothers and sisters prove lucky for young lovers Asano and Sinitta. Or do we speak too early?
Starring Japan's hottest actor Tadanobu Asano and the radiantly beautiful Sinitta Boonyasak, the film follows the travails of a quiet, lonely, obsessive-compulsive man who contemplates constantly about killing himself, and worries forever about upsetting his carefully ordered piles of books in the process. After accidentally killing a Yakuza hitman sent for his elder brother and being saved from a bridge leap by the death of a young woman, he falls in love with the young woman's sister and discovers, too late, a different orbit to his life.
This woman is everything he is not. He is a neat freak who keeps his dishes washed and his books neatly stacked and categorized. She dresses like a slob, smokes pot and never picks anything up. It's a match that somehow works, though. Slowly and entertainingly, more is revealed about the Japanese man, and why he's suicidal and living in Bangkok.
