It's been different all through, and it's not going to change towards the end,
either. So to mark its evolution through a landmark event, here's a pre-evolution
way of doing things for Chaitanya. It's going all tribal.
Chaitanya Art Theaters is a social and cultural organization that was established in 1984 to stand as a symbol of quality and to conduct programs to encourage thousands of amateur artists in Andhra Pradesh. For the past 18 years, the organization has conducted several cultural functions to protect and promote Indian culture and heritage. It has established records in organizing cultural functions for several days at a stretch, and at several theaters on the same day in Hyderabad. And it keeps breaking its own records …like it is now.
From the 1st of January to the end of the month, the organization is conducting various cultural programs and is also felicitating prominent personalities from various cultural domains. The program schedule for the last day is as follows:
6:30pm: Felicitation to Surya Bhagavantha Rao and S Prabhakar
6:30pm - 7:20pm:
- Lambada dance by girls
- Tappeta Gullu by Bangaru Chinatalli and party (of Vijayanagaram)
- Kati Papalu, Sadhana Soorulu by Bandi Sankar and party
- Girijana dance by the artists of Parvathipuram
8pm - 9pm:
Dappu Vayidyam by Venkata Malleshwara Dappu Samajam and traditional songs by Prabhakar and party
