Never before has so much art been assembled in one place, except perhaps when Chengiz Khan plundered India.
The week-long art camp, "Creations", organised by Shrishti Art Gallery at Kadavu resorts (near Kozhikode) in August presented an assortment of images and sculptures in mixed media. About 16 artists of the likes of Jatin Das, Achutan Kudaloor, Babu Xavier, Surya Prakash, Chandra Bhatacharjee, and Surya Prakash worked amidst sylvan and ethnic surroundings.
This exhibit is of those paintings that were a result of their artistic indulgence in those surreal and mystical environs, the canvas depicting an imagery of the mountains and trees representing Kerala. There is an archetypal picture of Kerala and there are a lot of rock and mountain paintings.
