You name it - they've got it! The menu is a thesaurus for all Southern spice, and this restaurant is all set to give the city the entire Chettinad flavor it needs. The dishes include a variety of starters, a huge choice for the main course and of course - the desserts!
The starters include pudurveendaikai soup (drum-stick soup), deva kottai thakkali soup (tomato pepper rasam soup), alagapuriattukal soup (mutton soup), kottaiyur soup (chicken soup) etc. For the main course is a spreadsheet of exotic dishes that include pudubayal fry (fried pigeon), kallalmyual chukka fry (fried rabbit), deva kottai vankozhi roast (roasted turkey), kaaraikudi kaadaivaruval (fried pitta), liver fry and brain masala (goat).
Also, there are the commonly known Chettinad dishes that include malbar paratha, vegetable kothu paratha, egg kothu paratha, chicken kothu paratha, appams, egg appams, Kanchipuram idli, kheema dosa (mutton) and fish preparations like meen kozhambu, karaikudi varuthavanzaram meen, athangudisorra puttu (shark), pudurerra masala (prawn masala) and kondanurnandu masala (crab masala) among many others.
To get a perfect end to the dinner there is Chettinad carrot halwa, karikudi pumpkin halwa, pal paisam and a few other Southern desserts. The dinner expense is minimal. The dishes come in the range of Rs. 40 to Rs. 160.
