For 10 days now Shilparamam has been trying to sell saris, and the winners are an unlikely lot - the devout ones who have learnt to look beyond. Catch Sivalanka Mani tonite.
As part of the ongoing sari festival at Shilparamam, a classical music concert by Sivalanka Manon Mani is being held on the 5th of October. Manon Mani, accompanied by another vocalist Vijayasri, will be rendering a few devotional keerthanas with her troupe of musicians, Nagamaleshwar Rao on the violin and M V Subrahmanya Prasad on the mridangam, as below:

Sivalanka Manon Mani has a diploma in veena and in vocals too. She is a disciple of Ammanamanchi Balarama Sastry of Tadepalligudem for vocals and of A Bharati Devi of Guntur for the veena. She has been giving performances for the last 10 years, and has about 150 to her credit now. Apart from in concerts in Andhra Pradesh, she also had performed in Madras, Kanchi and Mysore.
