REVIEW FOR ZEPHYR 2010 - NATIONAL...

Badruka College of Commerce is organising the annual national commerce festival Zephyr 2010, on 15th July, at the college campus in Kachiguda. This year's festival also coincides with the Diamond Jubilee Year for the college, and so, the festival is being organised in a big way. The list of events is as follows:

Corporate Events

Ad-Apt - A game of advertising a product and enticing customers to buy the product

Sansani - A game that is all about creating sensational news

Mock Interview - A fake job with a fake interview

Nirmaan Inc - Building a business empire, on paper

Inquizzitive - A business quiz

Fine Arts

Ikebana - Hairstyling event of a 60-minute duration

Matkala - A pot painting contest

Kalakriti - A canvas painting contest

Facets - A collage competition where participants can cut, copy and paste

Special Events

Drake's Fortune - A treasure hunt

Satta - A game wherein participants must float a political party and get voted to power by making promises

Cultural Events

Happy Foot - A solo dance competition, on a classical or a semi-classical theme

Happy Feet - A group dance competion on a fusion theme

Rhythm Divine - A solo singing competition, on a classical or a semi-classical theme

Strings - An instrumental music competition

Dram-E-Baazi - A theatre competion, wherein participants must come up with a comedy play

Literary Events

Chitrahaar - A documentary contest

Paper Blog - An essay-writing competition (the topic will be announced an hour before the competition)

Countdown - A Just-A-Minute (JAM) event

Zero Hour - A team debating event (topic will be announced an hour before the competition)
