From programming geeks to gaming freaks, to "Save The Tiger" shrieks, here's an event that covers it all.
Xyno Mindz 2KX is the annual technical symposium of DVR College Of Engineering & Technology, and this year it will be held from 16th to 18th April at the college campus in Kashipur Village, Medak District. A technical symposium with lots of competitions, this 3-day festival has events ranging from paper presentations to programming contests, gaming, quizzes and treasure hunts. Here is a detailed list of the events:

This is a a poster presentation event.
Alien Programming
Participants will be given an alien programming language, and must accomplish certain tasks using the language.
C-Debugging
Debugging is a methodical process of finding and reducing the number of bugs, or defects, in a C program, thus making it behave as expected.
Technical Quiz
This event tests participants on technical subjects.
LAN O Mania
This is an online gaming contest, and the games are Counter Strike, FIFA 08, NFS-MW, and War Craft (DoTA).
Photographia
A workshop will be conducted by photographer K Senthil Kumar, on the day of the fest. After the workshop, participants will have to click photographs based on what they learnt at this workshop.
Short Films
This contest showcases film-making abilities of the participants - the duration of each film shouldn't exceed 12 minutes, and the story must carry a theme.
General Quiz
Students will be tested on current affairs in this quiz.
Treasure Hunt
The object is find out the treasure hidden in the college campus, based on the clues provided.
Helping Hands
A social service initiative of the college, this event includes an E-Zone, a blood donation camp, a "Save Tigers" campaign, and other events on environmental and social awareness. Money collected from these events will be donated to charity.
