Xtractus 2010 - Technical Symposium At JBIET

J B Institute of Engineering & Technology is organising Xtractus 2010, a national level technical festival, on 30th & 31st March, at the college campus at Yankapally in Moinabad. The event consists of programs and resources that let students explore, assess, and experience engineering first-hand. From exciting student competitions to assessment tools and career exploration materials, there's much on offer:



Paper Presentation

Topics include those of Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Computer Science Engineering & IT, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Pharmacy.



Working Model Presentations

As the name suggests, participants need to present their ideas in the form of a working model on the day of the event. The ideas are not constrained to any topic, and any topic in the field of engineering can be chosen. Participants will be provided power supply and an area to exhibit their model (if required).



Workshops

There will be a workshop on Beam Robotics by Roboticwares Pvt. Limited.



Business Plan Competition

The business plan should seek to leverage natural and/or human resources and capabilities unique to India. The plan may cover an established industry or a service area through a green field project and/or an acquisition. The plan should chart a roadmap to a dominant market position and subsequent expansion for international operations.



Treasure Hunt

This hunt involves clues placed in several locations, that tell you where to go next.



Commandoz

This event is an attempt to create an army training arena.



Trestlez... Knack With Sticks

Design a Truss Bridge using popsicle sticks (ice-cream sticks), satisfying the stated constraints.
