X.S.I. is visiting Hyderabad, Delhi, Bangalore and Guwahati as part of their new collective project Universal Religion. In Hyderabad, X.S.I. will be performing live on 18th December at the Marakesh Lounge, Durgam Cheruvu. The bash also features Shiva Syndrome from Goa. Universal Religion is released by Indian record label digital OM, and contains a collection of supersonic tracks by X.S.I., Mad Maxx, Peacemaker, Waio, Talamasca and Ejekt.
X.S.I. is a French project of DJ Bio aka Jean-Marc Segondy and DJ Spawn aka Barthelemy Bayona. They met each other in 2002 djing in the The Gibus Club. After one year of playing together, they started making trance music in the beginning of 2003.
After 10 released tracks, they released their first album "Warning Zone" in August 2006 under the label Mind Control Records. This marked the beginning of their international work that took them to places such as Japan, Brazil, Russia, Spain and many more countries. They are now involved in making music in collaborations with Mad Maxx, Nomad, Pure Pressure and Talamasca.
Shiva Syndrome is a solo project of Shiva Kaushik which brings in twilight style, and has been played at dance floors at Hilltop, 9bar and Westend in Goa, and open air gigs in Chikmaglur, Bangalore and Mangalore. The Shiva Syndrome project will also play in Israel and Brazil next year with GBM and Chakra View Records.
