If your mind wanders as soon as a lecture starts or the minute you sit down to read, or if courses that demand memorization discourage and defeat you, then apparently there's still hope - look at George Bush. And so, the Literacy House's efforts.
The Literacy House of the Andhra Mahila Sabha is organising a 5-day workshop on Concentration And Memory, at its OU campus. The workshop aims to teach you how to focus and retain information through special techniques. Rajashekar, a PhD in English and an expert in training students to concentrate and memorize, will be guiding you.
The registration fee for the course is Rs. 300 per participant, and the last date for registration is 15th September. The timings are 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
Andhra Mahila Sabha was started by Dr Durgabai Deshmukh 60 years ago from her home in Mylapore, Chennai, and has since expanded to various institutions across Chennai and Hyderabad. The primary focus of the organisation is providing relief, comprehensive care and rehabilitation to all who need it, in the areas of education, health, vocational skills and shelter.
