Puppetry provides for an interesting media in instilling and impregnating behavioral and social conduct in small children. A perfect tool to mould young minds, puppets create a visual image to every thing being taught to children in particular, also sometimes, for adults too.
Puppetry as a medium can be used to communicate effectively on socially relevant issues like adult education or women and child welfare etc., is what Nori feels. Having worked with various organizations like NCSTC-DST, UNDP and CAPART, Nori Art And Puppetry Center has come a long way in bringing in this novel approach to a wide area of issues plaguing our society, in particular our nation.
This camp trains the kids in script writing, music, songs, puppet making, props etc and putting up shows. The kids are exposed to all aspects of theater and story telling.
