Wintertochter or Winter's Daughter (2011), directed by Johannes Schmidt and enacted by Nina Monka, wil be screened at Goethe-Zentrum as part of the German Movie Night on December 15 in the Hamburg Hall. Entry is free for all.
Kattaka (Nina Monka), an 11-year-old girl from Berlin, learns that her biological father is a Russian sailor whose ship is docked at the Polish port of Gdansk. She sets out with her friend Lene to try to meet her father and reconcile with her past.
