The IIT Hyderabad is hosting a course under the Global Initiative On Academic Network (GIAN) on Dislocation Theory For Mechanical Behaviour Of Metals from December 12 to 16, for BTech/MTech/PhD/MSc students.
The primary objectives of the course are as follows: Exposing participants to the fundamentals of dislocation theory, linking dislocation theory with plastic deformation and strengthening mechanisms, and introduce participants to cutting edge developments in the field.
Professor Nobuhiro Tsuji from Kyoto University, Japan and Pinaki Prasad Bhattacharjee from IIT Hyderabad, India will present the lectures.
