WFL Under-17 Afro-Asia T20 Cricket Tournament

Hosts India and Pakistan are among the 6 Afro-Asian countries to vie for the prestigious Steel Exchange Under-17 T20 Afro-Asia Cricket Cup, from 23rd to 27th February, at the Lal Bahadur Stadium. This inaugural edition is being held in the memory and honour of late Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.



It is a 6-nation tournament with India, South Africa & Zimbambwe in Group-A, and Pakistan, Sri Lanka & Bangladesh in Group-B. The preliminary matches will be held from 23rd to 25th February, the semi-finals on 26th February and the final on 27th February. There will be two matches played each day under flood-lights, and the tournament will have a total of 9 matches, as below:



23rd February

3:00pm to 6:30pm - Pakistan vs Bangladesh

7:30pm to 8:30pm - Opening Ceremony

8:30pm to 11:00pm - India vs. South Africa



24th February

2:30pm to 6:00pm - South Africa vs Zimbabwe

6:00pm to 7:00pm - Entertainment Program

7:00pm to 10:30pm - Pakistan vs Sri Lanka



25th February

2:30pm to 6:00pm - Sri Lanka vs Bangladesh

6:00pm to 7:00pm - Entertainment Program

7:00pm to 10:30pm - India vs Zimbabwe



26th February

2:30pm to 6:00pm - Semifinal 1 - Winner of Group A vs Runners-up of Group B

6:00pm to 7:00pm - Entertainment Program

7:00pm to 10:30pm - Semifinal 1 - Winner of Group B vs Runners-up of Group A



27th February

6:00pm to 9:00pm Finals - Winner of semifinal 1 vs Winner of Semifinal 2

9:00pm to 10:00pm - Prize Distribution and Closing Ceremony
