Hosts India and Pakistan are among the 6 Afro-Asian countries to vie for the prestigious Steel Exchange Under-17 T20 Afro-Asia Cricket Cup, from 23rd to 27th February, at the Lal Bahadur Stadium. This inaugural edition is being held in the memory and honour of late Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.
It is a 6-nation tournament with India, South Africa & Zimbambwe in Group-A, and Pakistan, Sri Lanka & Bangladesh in Group-B. The preliminary matches will be held from 23rd to 25th February, the semi-finals on 26th February and the final on 27th February. There will be two matches played each day under flood-lights, and the tournament will have a total of 9 matches, as below:
23rd February
