Priya sisters are raring to make converts of even the tin ears.
Tonite, Kalasagaram Cultural Organization is presenting a prgram by Priya sisters at Keys High School. The program will start with the sisters rendering Carnatic vocals in their youthful style. They will be accompanied by Raghvendra Rao on violin, Satish Kumar on mridang and M Murli on ghatam.
Shanmukha Priya and Hari Priya are disciples and daughters of Susaram, a noted musician himself. They had their formal training under Kalamananis Radha Jayalakshmi, and are currently under the tutelage of T R Subramaniyam. The sisters have around 2,000 concerts under their belt and have been performing all over the world, participating in festivals and competitions.
The entry fees for the event are Rs. 25, Rs. 50 and Rs. 100 and the tickets are available at the venue.
