Kalasagaram is presenting vocal concert by K Vijayaraghavan on Sunday, the 28th June, at Keyes High School. The concert starts at 6:30pm. B S Narayanan on the violin and S Arvind on the mridangam will accompany the singer.
Kolkata K Vijayaraghavan is the son and disciple of his father, the Late Kolkata R Kannan. On noticing his interest in music his father took him under his tutelage at the age of five. He was his first guru, and his debut concert was at the age of 13 at the Tambaram Ayappa Samajam.
After completion of his diploma and B A in music in the year 1986, he came under the tutelage of Sangeetha Kalanidhi Madurai T N Seshagopalan. Vijayaraghavan is an 'A' graded artist of AIR, Chennai. He has been giving vocal music performances at several places in the country for the past 21 years.
