At Golkonda, death-defying stunts say goodbye to a year that increasingly feels like it's badly in a hurry to go.
African acrobats, Aasma and DJ Russel will be rocking the New Year's Eve party at Golkonda Resorts on the 31st of December.
Aasma, the young Indian pop band, is known for its songs Chandu Ke Chacha, a peppy dance number Tum Sa Hi Pyaar, a soulful ballad and their video release Jeet Lenge Hum. The latter has made an impact not just on the music countdowns, but is also high on the request list of the party circuit across the country. Adding another feather to its musical career, the band opened the show for Bryan Adams during his concerts in Delhi and Bangalore in February 2004. The members of the band are Jimmy Felix, Neeti Mohan, Sangeet Haldipur and Vasudha Sharma.
Acrobats from South Africa will entertain with 60 breath-taking minutes of rope skipping, hoop diving, human pyramids, limbo, African dancing, hat juggling, contortion, fire dancing, drumming and bench balance.
DJ Russel has performed in Singapore, Australia, Malaysia, Thailand, France and Dubai. He will now the night away with hip hop, house music, Bollywood hits, Punjabi and retro, ushering in the New Year.
Entry passes are priced at Rs. 4,000 a couple and Rs. 1,500 for a child. Charges include entry, dinner and 2 free drinks. Please contact the venue at 2419-3000 for further details.
