The story of the avataara of a garland of Lord Vishnu, already the subject of a few classic movies, comes alive enacted by Shobha Naidu and her troupe.
Vipranarayana, a re-incarnation of Vishnu's Vaijanti Mala, was leading a pious life stringing garlands for the Lord Ranganatha temple in his village, when a courtesan, goaded by a statement about his staunch brahmacharya, took it upon herself to make him fall madly in love with her. She entered his home and managed to win his adoration, having done which she abandoned him.How Lord Ranganatha saved him from the ensuing plight is the rest of the tale.
