This book release function cum drama is being organized by Yuva Kalavahini on the 16th of this month. Dr. Boyi Bhimanna, a famous poet, has written this book, and is dedicating it to K Prathibha Bharathi, the Speaker, A P Legislative Assembly. The guests invited to share the dais, along with the Chief Minister, are G M C Balayogi (Speaker, Lok Sabha), P Chandrasekhar (Union Law Minister), Dr. Vasireddi Sitadevi (Writer), Justice Dr Kothapalli Punnaiah (Member, Constitutional Review Commission) and others.
The program will be followed by Veda Vyasudu, a mythological stage play on the different stages in the life of the sage Veda Vyasa, and about his epic, the Mahabharatha, the Panchama Vedam. How Lord Ganesh helped Veda Vyasa complete the scripture will be enacted on stage. Before Veda Vyasa, many famous personalities had tried writing this sacred story in Sanskrit (then the official language), but ended up using jargon that was difficult to understand for a commoner. Veda Vyasa has made the epic accessible to all.
Veteran artist Prudhvi Venkateshwar Rao is taking part in this drama, and Y K Nageshwar Rao enacts Veda Vyasa. Bramhanandam will compose the music.
