REVIEW FOR TRAINING IN BONSAI CULTIVATION
The Agri-Horticultural Society at Public Gardens is organizing a 3-day training program on Bonsai cultivation. Bonsai is an art of growing trees as dwarves. Cultivated in pots, the plants range from sapota, mango, pomegranate, guava, etc. to flowering trees like gulmohar, Bougainvillea, Exora, Adenium etc. The fruits and flowers grown can be consumed.
The cultivation of bonsai depends on careful selection of suitable specimens, skillful root pruning and potting, and regular attention. Undergoing training in Bonsai will help in producing trees in perfect proportion and in harmony with their containers. The workshop will deal with training, cultivation and seasonal care. Training charges are Rs. 450 per head.
