A National Arts & Crafts Hastshilpi Mela is being organized at the Zoroastrian Club, where wood carvings, sculpture, textiles, terracota and other forms of arts and crafts will be showcased. You can buy original artefacts produced by award-winning artisans here.
Silk saris and salwar suits from Varanasi, Kantha saris from West Bengal, Sambhalpur saris from Orissa, Tassar & Kosha silk from Bihar, Ekat & Pochampally from Andhra Pradesh, cotton curtains & bed sheets from Tamil Nadu, mirror work from Gujarat, and carpets from Uttar Pradesh will be on display. You can also directly interact with 2,500 artisans.
