Tonight, hold yourself, lest you disappear - Zone Magic with Magician Shado is in town.
Chaitanya Art Theatres is presenting a magic show by Magician Shado, on the 25th of April. G Kalyan Prasad, nicknamed Magician Shado, is an Engineer by education and a magician by profession. He is proficient in English and French, and is also a master of photography.
He has won awards like the Sorcor Memorial Award and the Gold Medal For Meritorious Service In The Field Of Magic. He has also won titles like Indian Houdini, Jadu Samrat and Indrajal Samrat. Shado is the only magician in India to have performed Straight Jacket Mid-Air Escape, originally done only by Houduni.
He has to his credit Maaya Bazaar, a unique synthesis of ancient and modern myths depicting the origin and evolution of magic, and Maaya Manjusha, a sychronised coming together of music, mime, muppetry, mimicry, ventroloquism, folk and classical dancing.
Shado is a trained hypnotist and NLP (Neuro Lingustic Programme) trainer, conducting effective memory and personality development workshops at Manthra, a memory and personality developmont institute created by him.
