The Hyderabad Junior Chamber is organizing this contest for children studying in classes V to X, to spot talent. This is done to give children a chance to give vent to their imagination. Interested children can send in their entries legibly written in not more than 50 words, either in Telugu, English or Hindi, and accompanied by an illustration (not mandatory), with details like name, age, class, address and name of the school, and post or courier or hand-deliver them to M Santosh, 409C, Babukhan Estate, Basheerbagh, Hyderabad. They can also be emailed to solusjaycees@rediffmail.com before 28th February.
There is no entry fee. The best three entries will be given prizes worth Rs. 1,000, Rs. 750 and Rs. 500. There will also be prizes in each age category, and five consolation prizes worth Rs. 250 each. And besides prizes, merit certificates will also be awarded.
